Crawling On All Four Is Not Automatic

Crawling On All Four Is Not Automatic

Today, everyone’s primary focus is on having their child walk as soon as
possible. Thus, a developmental milestone, such as crawling on all fours,
is not considered necessary anymore. Perhaps this is because we take
assume that crawling is automatic for a child.

However, most modern households forgot carpets and mainly have smooth flooring. This represents an incredible obstacle for a child who does not have strength in their legs! In ordinary clothes, the child has nothing to lean on and bounce back. That is why their legs slip, and they lose the motivation to crawl. And so, it often happens that the child crawls only for a bit of time, prefers to slither on the stomach, or skips the crawling phase entirely.

The parents are happy because their child is learning to walk so quickly,
and they readily support the baby in standing on their legs. However, if
the baby does not crawl actively and long enough, they can easily slip
into bad posture habits in the future. Crawling also supports the
connection between the right and left hemispheres of the brain, and thus
the proper development of cognitive functions. Therefore, it is necessary
to keep the child crawling!

The unique baby-pants Geckoeco, developed in collaboration with experts, have the ANTISKID SOLUTION® printing cover on all the critical areas. They will provide much needed support, and your baby will be motivated to crawl, even on a smooth surface.
